2. Support Agreement

Based on your needs, we'll establish a support agreement that outlines response times, communication methods, and pricing structure. This ensures clear expectations on both sides.

3. Onboarding

I'll document your systems, create secure access methods for remote support, and establish communication channels for support requests.

4. Ongoing Support

When issues arise, contact me via our established channels. For routine matters, I typically respond within 24 hours; for urgent issues, I prioritize rapid response.

5. Regular Check-ins

I schedule periodic reviews to ensure your technology continues to serve your mission effectively, discussing potential improvements and addressing any recurring issues.

How quickly can you respond to an urgent issue?

For annual clients, I guarantee response to critical issues within 4 business hours. For all clients, I prioritize urgent matters and typically respond much faster than my guaranteed timeframes.

Is there a limit to how much time and support?

In general, my philosophy and approach sets healthy and sustainable relationships and expectations. I do not set strict limits and take a more flexible approach depending on the needs of clients. This hopefully reduces the stress for Tech Therapy clients. If I anticipate that your needs are exceeding my capacity or expectation, then we will discuss it together and come up with a reasonable resolution.

What hours are you available? What about "off-hours"?

I make myself available to clients as much as possible. Asynchronous communication (like email) may be done at any time. Real-time communication availability is subject to change based on the time of year and external factors. In general, I do not follow a convention M-F, 9-5 schedule and clients should feel free to submit a communication whenever.

How does in-person or on-site support work?

Annual subscriptions come with a certain amount of on-site work. This is usually done to do field assessments, build relationship and trust, handover equipment, and any setup that can only be done local and on premise. Outside of this pre-arranged time, on-site work is handled on a case-by-case scenario and is subject to project or hourly fees.

What if we only need occasional help?

Not a problem! I offer on-demand or "pay-as-you-go" support to anyone. It is a great way for you and your team to test the waters with me and the Tech Therapy model.

What if we already have someone on staff who does our IT?

It's great when organizations and businesses can afford dedicated internal staff to manage technology in-house. I am open to all arrangements and possibilities and have helped train and provide supplementary training or work in a project-based capacity with. Also, if you have someone on staff who wears multiple hats, they might benefit from having additional support on standby to help. I am happy to run your entire IT infrastructure or support exisiting IT support staff with my expertise, training, and resources.

Can you support our remote team members?

Absolutely. I provide remote support to team members regardless of their location, helping with home office setups, VPN connections, and other remote work challenges.

How is this different from other IT support providers?**

My therapy-focused approach means I look at your entire organization, not just isolated technical issues. I focus on education and empowerment, ensuring you understand your systems and can make informed decisions about your technology investments. I believe in transparency, honesty, and sustainability. My goal is to empower your staff to learn the skills necessary so that someday your team may be able to handle everything that Tech Therapy does on their own! I take pride on my clients becoming more savvy and capable to run their own technology infrastructure.

What types of systems do you support?

I support a wide range of technology including Windows and Mac computers, cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.), network infrastructure, printers and peripherals, mobile devices, and most standard business software.
